Juan was awarded Nidan (2nd Dan Aikikai) in 2022. Juan (never worried about grades) has been an Aikido practitioner for more than 20 years.
He belonged to the Spanish Association of Aikido for several years and now is a member of ASU (Aikido Schools of Ueshiba).
His main teacher in Spain has been Jesus Arce 5th Dan Aikikai following the French School of Tamura Sensei and Spanish national instructors.
Apart from Tamura, main influences have been: Yasunari Kitaura, Claude Pellerin, Michelle Becart, Gilbert Milliat, or Michel Prouveze. In another line, he has also trained with Endo Sensei, Frank Noel or Matti Joensuu.
